Within San Francisco, there are two districts known as the ‘Sunset’ districts. The Outer Sunset, which runs next to the Great Highway of the western side of the peninsula, and the Inner Sunset, found just south of Golden Gate Park’s museums and gardens.

This series highlights both parts of town during the golden hour just before and up to the sun setting, from the houses and local architecture to the sands of the windy Ocean Beach and its surrounding suburbia.
